Hello, I know that's not really a useful metric, but I'm interested to know - for instance, I read a bike check of garrett reynolds and it says he rides 20.5" - unfortunately though, most bike-checks are written by non-enthusiasts and omit this type of data (like, how are you going to say frame/bars/cranks model names, but then just not mention what size they're riding?! I know that the bike-checks are more ads than content, so I get being heavy on the brand promotion, but if I read a bike-check I should know if they ride a 20.5, or if they're riding 170mm cranks, things like that you'd think would be obvious to include!)So I'm hoping for more examples of pro's who ride under 21" frames, I thought stevie churchill and dan lacey rode

I've re-loaded this page over and over, it won't let me edit my OP and that's not the whole post, I've tried to edit it over & over I don't know what's wrong here..

Wow, the text-box had my submission showing perfectly (I've got it saved in a .doc file right now), but upon submission it changed the two paragraphs I'd written to that sentence 'So I'm hoping...'

No idea what's going on with the site right now, will come back later and see if this is stopped but I've re-loaded the page over and over and tried editing multiple times, it won't change anything :/

You using a mobile device?

Anyways, here are just a few off the top of my head who run 21" and under TT lengths that I remember either reading or watching from a bike check feature.

Mark Webb, Alex Coleborn, Alex Donnachie, Rob Armour, Nick Bruce, Kriss Kyle, Kyle Baldock, Harry Main... The list goes on.

Ok since I have no idea what part of my text is causing this (or whehter it's my text or the site, think it's the site), here's a screenshot of my post lol: http://imgur.com/a/4vCLf

It depends entirely on whet each individual rider likes. It doesn't matter what a pro rides because they might have a different body to whoever else.

There's loads of short pro's that ride shorter than 21"

Chad Kerley rides a 20.8" and Dennis Enarson rides a 21". Think about the difference there. Think about the difference in their heights. Does the TT length really matter that much or is it just what you are used to? Most guys have only ridden between 20.5" and 21" so they really don't know any different.

None of it matters when you are actually riding the bike.

well Enarson is tall as fuck so a 21 makes total sense... I've met him lol

Also, Kris Kyle rode a 21 for a while, then 20.5, now 20.8, it's kind of like certain tricks, where you need to find a balance point. Whatever feels balanced well enough to suit your needs really.

Back in the day (at the same height) nearly everyone rode a 20.5. I've ridden 21 a few times, and currently have a 20.75. I'm 6 feet tall.

Next frame will be closer to 21.

It's a mix of rider height and what your preference is.
