So today a couple of friends and I planned on going to a skatepark, a little ways away from our hometown. (about an hour and a half away) And because none of us have our drivers license yet, we had my friends father drive us. On our way, we got lost, so we stopped at a nearby bmx shop thinking they could give us legitimate directions to the skatepark. We got the directions and we were going to be on our way, but the car wouldn't start so we were stuck in the parking lot. Our first thought was the car either needed a jump or it needed oil. And since oil was the easiest solution, my friend set off on an almost mile journey to the closest gas station. When he came back about 20 minutes later, he had the wrong oil, so he went back to get the right oil. He came back with the right oil a little while afterward. We put the oil in the car and still nothing. The car would not start! So we sat around for about 2 hours trying to think of solutions so we could at least get home. Finally we found someone who could jump the car. That didn't help. After that we came to the conclusion that we were going to have to find a ride home and leave the car. And we couldn't find anyone to take us four and our bikes back home! So we were looking to stay somewhere for the night and get a ride home tomorrow morning! One very kind employee offered us to stay at her house for the night and then go home with someone tomorrow. So we were going to do that. When I contacted my mother to tell her that was the plan, she said she would make the hour and a half long journey to rescue us all and take us home! So to sum it up, a couple of friends and I broke down near a skatepark far from home and were about to stay at a womens house who we had just met today. And my friends father's vehicle is still sitting, broken down in the parking lot of that bike shop. So I'm asking you guys, have you ever been in a situation anything like mine? BMX can take you on adventures! I tried to keep this as different from the 'What's the craziest thing you've ever seen at a skatepark' thread. Sorry this was such a long story.
