Got this 22" S and M some months back and just now decided to strip the paint only to reveal a few interesting things. The guy I got it from said it may be a "prototype".... Just curious as what story is behind this thing, if any.

"holmes" is hand etched/engraved on both sides of the frame(neither side match so it appears freehanded).

"CM/" is all over this thing as proofmarks or?

Bottom bracket has the serial number hand etched also. Says "CM/ 14"

On one dropout it is laser engraved "G2P0490".

Here are some pictures.

"CM" is maybe "Chris Moeller"?

In any case, Moeller is probably the guy to ask. Just send him an email and if he can tell you more about the frame, he will

Ayy, that's pretty neat! Interested on more info soon. I'd also say shoot him an e-mail.

Their first 22” frame was called the Holmes, after their old Holmes frame bitd (same as a dirtbike but 21” tt)

It could potentially be the kind of thing I’d rather hang on the wall than ride

Thanks for the replies. I forgot to mention I have already emailed them, just waiting on a response. Figured I'd ask here also. I'm getting a feeling this thing may have a cool story behind it. Anyways, I'll post back what I find.
