What's your favorite time to ride?

i Usually ride anytime unless its really freaking hot then i ride at night lol

I ride anytime as long as it's not very hot.

I will ride my bike to work, but I don't have work yet. And there are no bike lanes here. And it's very hot during 10am- 3pm

Depends on the weather.

If it's hot out I ride around at 6 until 10

8 or 9 till 10 or 11 of I'm working that day it's so hot out latley can't ride much earlier without being blinded by sun bouncing off the park

Early morning. It is cooler than evening, AND no one is out. The park is always empty, and it is just a good time.

after 5pm and late night sessions are my favourite (as long as there's light, it's hard to ride when you can't see where you're going)

it seems like the heat really does make riding not as fun. Thanks for the responses guys, Dave thats a genius perspective. I wanna try to wake up at like 5am and eat my breakfast pizza and then around 6:30am go out. Chances of hood rats being out around that time is 0 and it should be cooler than sunset...

I really enjoy riding at about 8pm until 11pm-ish. The temp is a lot cooler, also the sky is usually a neat cooler - heh.
I've always wanted to go in the morning but never got up earlier enough, and the afternoon until around 6pm for the park here is usually filled with Scoots and younger people.

Evenings are the best

i love riding at night. try to avoid it in my neighborhood though cause it's reaaaaallllly sketchy so nights the train doesn't run late and i'm forced to bike all the way home it really sucks. i'll ride whenever though as long as it's not raining or there's no chance for rain. i bike to work frequently.

ugh, its storming again. thats the only problem with sunset riding in florida, during the summer its almost always storming around 7-8pm in my area. its like clockwork. I think I may really have to start getting up early to avoid the heat AND the weather AND the hoodlings... So many environmental factors coming into play I just wanna bmx lol As much as I'd love to ride during a thunderstorm I def dont wanna die. A bike is like a moving lightning rod. and tires and grips won't protect you from shit lol

I can see that man. weather patterns seem to be getting pretty intense lately everywhere! In like siberia they had a deadly hail storm in the middle of the summer which was unusual. lol imagine being at the beach in the hot sun and getting pelted with 2 inch size chunks of ice on the dome lol

Its just chance here when the best time to ride is. I ride on my own ALOT but sometimes, on a rare friday, that can never be planned, the weather cools, and all the scooter fags go home, and suddenly the park is full of all my mates that skate and ride, some that just chill, beers, drugs and bikes. Fuck its awesome when that happens... Although i recently had to pack in the bud for the sake of a job, and i never have money for booze coz i blow it on my bike, but still, its a rare but awesome time to ride. But yeah, you tried riding metal ramps in any kind of heat? Its fuckin torture

Ibe never touched a ramp. Sounds like a lot of fun tho just b safe homie. (The partying part, not the metal oven ramps. Lol fuckkk that must get hot)

We have rhino ramps in our local and they are a weird laminate shit thing, when they get hot they get super slippy and the metal grind boxes WILL burn you

I ride all day every day and usually night too, but my favourites are early morning and nighttime, as long as it's well-lit.

3 a.m. because it is quiet, no cars, and i can ride whatever the hell i feel like.

bacon+egg on a burger is as good as it gets for me! and that hail is brutal. i didn't know siberia even had beaches though...

Riding at night is the shit

Morning or evening. I have classes in the mornings during the week and the are around my local is sketchy AF so I try to go from like 5 to 7 or something like that

whenever the humidity is low and it's not too hot out
because I am one of those people who just sweat and it's horrible..

I'm in the same position as OP. My neighborhood is fine, but one block over is ghetto as fuck and the majority of the city is catching up quickly. So night riding is out of the question on a high end bike, but because of this west coast drought bs, it's 100+ from about 11am to 6pm so day riding sucks as well. I used to ride exclusively at night when I lived in OC tho. Nice and cool by the beach, big city so lighting wasn't a problem, knew what areas/cities to avoid. Lol. Suprisingly never got hassled by the cops either, even when I was clearly underage and it was like 2-3am.

I really like ride at night, i often go to a plaza next to my house with ledges and stairs.
It's better at night, there is nobody on your road, nobody sit on the ledges, not afraid to hit someone when gap the stairs... More cool for sure !
