I already have ordered rims. Everything is simple, hubs aren't 45 pawl beehives with 10 trillion engagement points. They seemed the best bang for the buck. Anything to change in your guy's minds?

Solid wheels for sure, I personally wouldn't change a thing.

Replace the front hub with a BSD hub. Just because BSD front hubs have a better reputation and are cheaper. And go with US brand spokes or whatever they are, you won't notice a difference between them and DT Swiss.

I've been running usa spokes for years with no issues. Hub wise I see no issues and you already know I'm stoked on the rims

I'm on the vital legit list!

I chose the DT Swiss because it came with nipples and I was too lazy to go back a page on empire. When I do order I'll go USA brand spoke and all. I would have gone Odyssey or G-Sport for the front but NOOOOOO. ALUMINUM AXLE.

Aluminum axles are fine, they actually tend to have a higher strength to weight ratio. And Odyssey and G-Sport hubs have helicoiled threads, so they're stronger and easier to replace if they strip.

Ok. And I noticed the quartet. Cheaper than the other two, heat treated chromoly axle, good bearings, didn't see it or something bad about it? It looks promising.

I'd actually go for the BSD over the Quartet, just because the BSD has been out for years and has a great reputation. I'm definitely not saying the Quartet is bad, it's just that it hasn't had time to gain any reputation.

I'm a 14, can't get a real job in the winter here. Can't get a workers permit until I'm 15 and a half. Nobody is doing lawn stuff, water shaming and all. And I like to make posts explaining why I can't get a job and how I'm at a disadvantage in the world.

The rear hub is worth almost as much as both his wheels combined haha

quartet is just a female hazard essenially. maybe driver has a bushing instead of bearings
