So i have an old Redline MX11 bike and im trying to date the thing so i can figure out what its worth since its been sitting in my garage for years. It was my dads when he was a kid and he wants it gone and im having a hard time figuring anything out about it. Any ideas when it was made? It has a 6 digit serial number in the 36's and is made in the US

I know the Crank and the freestyle stuff is after the bike but according to my dad the seat and post are original along with the frame and forks. He calls the wheels boat anchors as they are cast aluminum (Both wheels are heavier than the bike frame...)
Any idea on the year or maybe a value?

I know absolutely nothing about the bike but when i looked at it i couldn't help thinking... God DAMN that is a badass Old School bike! The "Boat Anchors" are some of the best wheels i think I've ever seen short of being attached to a CAR! There is a Old School section on this very board i bet if you posted this marvel of BMX machinery in there those guys would know all about it.
