Which axle would be stronger?

20mm aluminum female axle or 15mm steel female axle? Steel is stronger than aluminum but the aluminum axle is bigger.

you mean a 14 mm steel akle and is the 20mm on a Shadow btr cuz thats actually 17mm cromoly axle

Steel. Aluminum can strip out and bend easier due to a lower tensile strength when comparing similar sizes.

If you run pegs, get a chromoly axle any chance you can.

True Female Axles don't take the weight of Grinding though, and if they're Helicoiled that's not a problem either.
