Will the whipperman ig8 fit on the gsport ratchet driver?

I think the chain might be to beefy for the driver and such.

If I remember correctly Wippermans won't fit on drivers smaller than 12 or 13T.

|

proper hub idk what year it is but im telling you man i had nothing but trouble with the ratchet hub, first you cannot ride a shadow chain with it, the driver its made retarded the whole thing comes apart, this causes alot of wobble with the driver because its never fully tightened properly "haha" in the end my ratchet hub had soo much drag on it and the drive move'd around so much it was just not safe to ride

I have the new version so it can fit the shadow chain and the rest of the problems you had just sounds like you don't maintain your stuff very well lol

Shadow won't fit in the newer one either. 9T drivers for the ratchet are complete garbage and fall apart.

Mines has the helicoil problem at the moment and it's been like 3 weeks or so that i emailed g-sport and they replied once saying they could possibly warranty it and have ignored me since then!

Really! I emailed george directly the other day and he answered my question within the hour lol it was like an instant messaging session! and I thought the shadow master pin was the only problem? But I dont like halflinks anyways so that's fine haha

I'm kinda pissed off about but at the same time i am really tired of both g-sport hubs and want to give some other company a shot. I want BSDs but i'm not keen on another female rear hub.

I don't mind it I just got mine not too long ago so I'm going to ride it till it poops out then I'll warranty it and not have a problem like a boss then continue riding it till it poops out and hopefully by then they will have a gsport freecoaster abd I'll pick that up

I have a couple of friends who ride Interlock v.2 chains on their Ratchet hubs, and have been doing so for quite a while with no problem.

I'm pretty sure their drivers have rub marks all over them.

Really? Because I'm positive that they don't. And I've seen them in person.

Wow, then they must have something going on. I know that the 9t driver uses a different size axle spacer then the 10t but it still rubbed even when i changed them.

I'm pretty shure it's just the master pin that rubs

The driver floats on a needle bearing and the side to side shift is part of the design. If I remember correctly is so that the hub has some ability to compensate for an imperfect chain line and reduce the stress on the chain.

They fixed the 9 tooth's problems.
Mine's been running perfectly, no wobble.
