Looking for a high quality street 20" raw frame. Not 20.25", or 20.5". I want it 20". Looked everywhere. Cant seem to find one. Any help is appreciated.

Downtown BMX has a BSD Freedom frame in 20.2" which has the rarer 69° seat tube angle that effectively brings the TT closer toward your cranks, i.e. should feel about like 20". I was spotting this sale earlier this year when I considered doing a super short build. Kriss Kyle signature. Go watch his edits.

Check out We The People's site. They are a very street oriented company, so you might want to see if they got a 20 tt

this came across as a ridiculous statement (to me) because who's got the money for a custom frame like that??

and thats what lead to me learning a custom from him with no fancy shit is only $450. not bad compared to s&m and sunday's prices, or when i consider it's a much smaller operation, in the states too

Yea it’s not as bad as it might seem. If you know the geo your gonna ride for a while, not a bad route IMO. Anyways just wanted to throw it out there as an option.

yeah that's fair. why not just get something you like in whatever color and rawing it yourself? or taking it to get sandblasted if you want it still mooing raw

20" tt isn't all that common. You're not really in a position to be picky.
My son has a 20.4 BSD trail or park and the reach is the same as his old 20" federal Hamilton due to the slack seat tube angle

By the way, federal command ics2 frame has a 20" tt and 12.5" chainstay. Super short frame. But not raw 😘

Get some paint stripper. Do you need this much help when getting dressed in the morning?

All done. Blued the welds. Clearcoated. Removed one more link in order to slam my rear axle. 😎

Sick setup. Random thought, but why don’t more companies make raw bars and forks? BSD does a flat raw fork, but that’s the only brand I can remotely think of and I don’t think anyone does gloss raw forks. As far as bars it’s basically just S&M/fit. Most brands do raw frames and a few do cranks, but that’s about it.

I'd assume they just don't sell as well. A few years back everyone made everything in raw. But most builds are black parts on a raw/coloured/black/chrome frame

As I understand it, that is from factory under the paint. You can't enhance it, only buff it away. Unless maybe you take a torch to it yourself.

Factory blue from welds were non existent when i removed the powdercoat. Probably due to sandblast prior to powdercoating. I just used a propane torch.
