I just got a new bike, the Colony Premise 2015, but I have to pedal so much on it. Its a 25 by 9 gear ratio and I pedal'd my ass off and only went two blocks. On my old bike, I would've gone at least 8 blocks with that much pedaling.

Uuum...Probably needs to be broken in, different tires can affect coasting, new bearings too, and if there are brakes, make sure they aren't rubbing.
