He is one of my favourite riders, why is he so underated? Or am I wrong? I meant, why is he so under the radar. I did not knew he is not barely riding anymore.

Kevin Porter? Karl Poynter? Kim Possible? You’re gonna have to be more specific

I immediately thought Kevin porter. Because he is by far the most stylish rider with those initials
Kevin Peraza is on top of the world right now. Oozes style, consistent at the xgames and other big contests, and starting to drop more video parts!
I saw that he deals with an autoimmune disease...I think it was in an Instagram post of his. Like it makes it hard for him to ride as he did back in the day. He still rips and if you look on youtube there are recentish clips of him riding. I think he's just done with being a full-time pro and has been that way for a while. I think he has his own coffee shop or brand? He's still on Fly. I've found a lot of old pros (mid-school era) profiles on insta...some don't really acknowledge bmx like Josh Stricker pretty much keeps it just his paintings, which I can respect.
Hell, I didn't even know Berringer came out as gay, which doesn't matter one bit, but I never knew. The dude ripped back then...still does.

The x-up tailwhip crank flip will never go away.
Possibly the only time in BMX dirt jumping history where someone’s pulled off 3 tricks in 1? Not counting trick-to-trick variations.

Justin dowells 360 twix is 3 tricks at the same time technically, aitken also did a bunch of 3 tricks at the same time tricks

Truth! I forgot about those. Aitken definitely did 360 tire grab can cans if I’m not mistaken.
X-up whip crank flip on accident is still my favorite though haha

By now he's at least 40 years old. Probably still rides good but not at the level the newer riders push themselves to. Not many riders at 40 want to fall trying to barspin or whip a huge stair set so they either find a niche style to ride or just kinda stop riding professionally. His riding was dope though. I had 3 or 4 tierra frames lol.

Do you have any proof that Matt Berringer is gay. Never heard that before. Tried to find some info on the net, but seems to long ago. I am not against homosexuals, it is just a little shocking to me, because never would have thought that. He really seemed more like a straight guy, but you'll never know.

It was on a TJ Lavin podcast w/ Matt Beringer (that for some reason I can't find anymore). Youtube say's the account for the video has been terminated.

Please embrace this moment and learn that you never know what's going on inside someone just by looking at them!
Actually! Why the heck is KP not Kevin Porter anymore? Nowadays there is no better rider than him. Watch his parts and then tell me, if he should not be KP. All modern KPs are not so well rounded.
Kevin Peraza rides street, park and dirt...I mean a lot of today's riders have no clue just who Porter is. I'm the type of person that once I get into something, I go backward and learn up what I can and I did when I got into the sport in the early 2000s. I watched Rad so much and looked up the the riders that did the stunts and had a whole new appreciate of that era. But, not every person is like that...some see no reason to pay attention to a rider not in the spotlight anymore.

Is Kevin Peraza doing stylish tricks, like Kevin Porter did in his videos? I am not so into modern riding anymore, maybe I am getting old. I love rather see Kevin Porters riding, than Kevin Peraza. He is riding like inhuman. There is no more style in it, it is like a robot. It is the new generation, that is learning BMX with the lightest bike, I think, I may am envy.
Edited Date/Time:
Have you seen how good Kevin Perazas superman seat grabs are? And his inverts along with his 360 combinations in dirt being probably the closest thing to Aitkens 3 combination style since aitken himself (360 can can tire grabs for example) , if you don’t think peraza has style I don’t know what to tell you. I mean he even made the least stylish ugly trick in modern riding the downside tailwhip 360 look good by catching it in can can and adding no footed can can
Just to add, it's kinda sad to me on a level, that a master of a craft can make something look so easy, that to some it almost can appear "stale"...
