would somebody with a 2.4" tire on the front please measure from the ground, 9.75" then measure the distance from the front of their tire to the back? making a bike box for my truck and just wanna make sure a 2.4" tire will fit

All tires have different inflated diameters so that wont do you much good. Just add an extra couple of inches to the box so you know youre good.

You'll be fine and if worse comes to worse just deflate the tire and buy and hand pump and inflate in again when you're there
