So yesterday I got a new gyro plate for Fit/S&M stems, a Snafu Mobeus, and a Odyssey M2 cable 440mm long. When I was setting it up I realized the knarps on the M2 cable are too big and wont fit through the gyro plate. So I ended up cutting the knarps off and then trying these ones that tighten on that came with my lower cables. They didn't like the Mobeus and would pop out from under the gyro every time I even attempted to re-attach the bottom cable to the brake arms. Has this happened to anyone or did I just get a bad batch of an M2 cable or something? Yesterday I said fuck it and just bought a $5 Odyssey straight cable from my lbs and it feels amazing.

Yeah I feel you I go brakeless once in a while till I get tired of it. I like working on bikes tho so it doesn't bother me when I have to fix stuff, but it bugs me when a part should work but just doesn't for some reason, and brakes can be a pain in the ass I will admit lol.

I had an m2 on mobeus? With the same plate actually too. Never had a problem m8.. not sure honestly. You can always make your own m2 cables. Not sure how but people with larger bars tend to do it a lot (m2 cables are short as hell).

Yeah I'm not going to sweat it though I'm just going to run a straight cable since I can't tailwhip yet, and haven't even tried barspins, and most of the time I'm just jumping shit and flowing around a park or somewhere. I was just curious if this has happened to anyone since I thought it might have something to do with the 440mm long cable because I've never seen it for sale and now it doesn't work.
