I think it's incredibly hard for them (or anyone, for that matter) to get the general public excited about flatland which, unfortunately, is the main goal of X-Games.
I'm glad dirt is back.
Crazy cause when I'm watching bike videos with my friends and someone pops by and watches most people who don't ride find flatland in the props videos the craziest to watch........I think it's hard to put flatland on tv In a contest form because some of those tricks take so long to get done
Im looking forward to the street comp! Last years street was beastly!

What would be really sick is if for the dirt, they went to 9th or Eastside, instead of building a generic 6 pack.

I'm wondering if they are going to keep mountain bike slope style I love watching mtb slope style.......but I wonder if Austin is flat
Eventually I want to get into mountain biking in a few years.....the Canadian Rockies aren't that far away so much to ride

Not true. Matt Wilhelm was on like Americas got talent or something, riding flatland and the crowd was pretty stoked. Granted it was in the dark with lights on his bike but still hahah
Honestly? Who gives a shit. Its the fucking internet. I hate all of you equally.

but that's different. It's not nearly as interesting to most people whenever there are 20 people doing it for 30 minutes at a time. Seeing it once is awesome. seeing multiple people do similiar stuff isn't.

I'd rather watch America's got talent then x games street.....I find a prefab small plaza boring as hell to watch...... Then only street contest i like watching is the dew tour downhill street in San Fran they got that street contest figured out
Mountain biking is awesome and bmxers are usually good at it because there used to being on less stable bikes so 26 inchers are easy to us. My dad just got me a 6 inch travel enduro frame for an early birthday present I can't wait to build it up

From my experience with Texas summers, I'd guess mid 90's

Yeeeeaaaaahh...... That's about as similar to a flatland contest as playing Tony Hawk's video game is to watching a skate vert contest.
Not the same thing at all.

I hate X games now, I've been to everyone for about the past 7or 8 years and now they moved it . good memories at the x games though meeting terry adams, matt hoffman (awsome person talked to him for like half an hour), meeting ty morrow (wasnt actually at the x games but i caught uo with him ridding one day and talked to him). Met countless awsome people there and some of my favorite riders/skaters/driver
