Yeah it was done before but it's always fun looking back on what your bike used to be and what it is now..
Too lazy to find all the old pics, but I have this from when I got bored last year and pieced together all of my major past setups in one photo, so I'll just describe them below it.. Open in new tab for extra zoom!
Top Left: Stock Haro with Animal Edwin grips, Kink Lite pegs, Odyssey Monolever & Odyssey Slic cable. My first actual bmx bike, with some custom parts after a month or 2 of riding, so this was taken around October or November of 2006.
Top Middle Left: Got my first frame! This was the first week of January 2007, I remember I got Christmas money and blew it all on new stuff right away haha. Got my Sunday OG frame, FSA headset, Odyssey Phat Black Widow cranks with BB included, Mosh 30t sprocket, metal Animal Hamilton pedals, Odyssey Evo II brakes, and I also remember getting a Fly tire at some point between the last pic too.
Top Middle Right: A few changes from the last, most notably Fly Mosca bars I got from a friend, sprayed metallic blue & also sprayed my forks to match. Sadly this was the best pic I could find of the setup ): Really did like how my bike looked then haha. But also killed my stock Haro back wheel so I had a cheap custom built up, it was a Poverty cassette hub laced to a Sun Rhynolite XL rim. At some point I also took my brakes off when I snapped my cable, and rode 4 pegs for awhile too. This was around April 2007. I think I also got a new Animal v2 22t sprocket around this time too.
(NOT PICTURED!) At some point before the last pic & next pic, I destroyed my Haro forks, got a pair of stock white Fit forks from a friend to hold me over till I got my Sunday Night v2 fork, and also Sunday Color bars in metallic green to match with metal Fly bar ends & Fit Flow cranks since I stripped my previous cranks, along with an Odyssey Hazard front wheel I rode for only a few months. I know there's a pic somewhere but I can't find it. This was in the Summer of 2007.
Top Middle Left: Added Sunday Color bars & Sunday Night v2 forks as said above, new set of Kink Lite pegs to replace the ones I had that had holds grinded through them lolol, Demolition Anorexia complete wheel with an FBM hub guard, new Pivotal seat setup with a seat clamp too, Kink Slim seat with Animal post & clamp, and got rid of the Odyssey wheel for my friend's old stock Eastern wheel since I had the shits of taking tires off that Hazard rim. this was Christmas 2007
Second Row, Left Pic: Bike looks beat haha, not much changed here besides hopping on the pc pedal train & getting a Shadow Attack stem & Shadow Light v2 sprocket from a friend, sometime late Spring 2008
Second Row, Middle Pic: New front wheel! Premium Lite front wheel, along with a Shadow Rant hub guard. Also put my brakes back on thanks to getting an Odyssey cable from a friend, they didn't last long on my bike though haha. This was Summer 2008
Second Row, Right Pic: Got new cranks late in the Summer, Sputnic Playback cranks, along with new wheels for Christmas that started my love for white hubs (All my hubs since then have been white haha), the front was a Demolition Bulimia laced to a Sun Rhynolite XL rim & the rear was a Shadow Rant v2 cassette hub laced to a Demolition Zero rim. Also got new Sunday Morning 2.1 forks & new Animal MKII pegs. Oh and got a new Shadow Attack stem from another friend to go with the white stuff! Christmas 2008 through the first few weeks of January 2009 too.
Third Row, Left Pic: Not many changes, if any, from the last besides upgrading to big bars finally! Got a set of Sunday Triumph bars off a friend & sprayed them to match my freshly resprayed frame, and laced my front wheel's grind side spokes inbound. Sometime in January 2009.
Third Row, Middle Pic: Minimal changes here even though this photo/setup's a year older than the previous one, new Fit Lo-Bolt seat since I snapped my Kink seat, warrantied my Sunday forks for the same pair since I cracked them, snapped my rear hub's flange off so I got a new hub (Same one because I'm dumb), new Shadow Strike stem (Second one because I snapped the last one, and got the same one again because again I'm dumb), new Shadow Rant front hub, and also got new Fit Indent (Just Fit cranks back then haha) cranks over the Summer of 2009 along with a black Shadow Light v2 sprocket), this pic was taken Summer of 2010!
Third Row, Right Pic: Changing things up! Well, color-wise at least. Got Animal Sway bars & headset in gold, sprayed frame black, eventually got an Animal Sprocky Balboa sprocket in gold too. Other than that, it was pretty much the same. Christmas 2010
Fourth Row, Left Pic: FINALLY retired my Sunday OG frame, got a KHE Bar-Bados frame from a friend for basically nothing, so I'd have been dumb to not get that haha. Other changes were a Profile Acoustic stem, Kink seat post, new back wheel which was a Primo Mix cassette laced to a black Demolition rim (Rim was from a friend), also got an Alienation Deviant rim for my front wheel, and at some point a hub guard for the rear. September 2011
Fourth Row, Middle Pic: New rims! Gold G-Sport Rollcages, also got a new Kink Viridian front hub (Bad mistake lolol didn't keep this hub long) and Animal Akimbo cranks. Early 2012, like January or February
Fourth Row, Right Pic: Started twisting the rear end to my KHE frame, so I sent my Sunday OG frame back to warranty & got my Sunday 3rd wave frame, also cracked my Animal bars & warrantied them at the same time for Skavenger Swift bars, also replaced the piece of shit Viridian hub with a Demolition Mary-Kate hub which included a hub guard. Summer of 2012
Bottom Row, Left Pic: Minimal changes like pedals are now gold, but also had Macneil ID forks here since I was riding them while I waited for my Sunday Morning 2.1 forks to get warrantied. Fall of 2012
Bottom Row, Right Pic: New Sunday Octave forks from warranty, new Primo Aneyerlator v2 stem since I had the shits of using a 1/4" allen wrench just for my Profile stem, andd a Cult Match cassette cause my Primo Mix's bearing seats somehow got worn out, warrantied that but they gave me a Remix so I just bought a Cult Match since it's the same as a Mix. January 2013
Quite a few changes from the last setup! Obviously the gold has been replaced with metallic green, but they're also new G-Sport Ribcage rims, along with a BSD Front Street hub (Had this one for only a few weeks before needing to warranty it for a defect), new Animal v3 sprocket, sprayed it white, got new Odyssey GY3 bars for more upsweep and Odyssey Thunderbolt cranks! Also added a 3rd peg, Fall of 2013
Gold is back here! Same rims, just painted. Added 2 Daily Grind hub guards to the front for my BSD Front Street hub, Fit BB cone spacers, new Fit Lo-Bolt seat to replace my ripped up one, and a Cult Mind Control stem to replace the Primo one I cracked. As of now, this is the same setup I'm riding too. This was just a few months ago, like October or November 2014.
