im rebuilding my eastern my gears are 39/16 what upgrades should i give my bike for better performance at a skate park

if you stick with a freewheel back hub, get a 13tooth freewheel and a 36 tooth sprocket

how about more like 30/11 or 28/10 or 25/9 or like 23/8 or 22/8 but you need a new wheel to get thsoe cuz u whel is only compable with freewhels prbaly

get a cassette wheel soem better cranks wit a sealed bb not a mechanical one

Like these guys said smaller drive gears which= faster acceleration.
I have a stock eastern 9 tooth for sale if you would want a cheap rim to give it a shot with

No...if I had a 28-8 my acceleration would be slower than if I had a 38-12...for example...Microdrive is good for many things...acceleration is entirely dependent on the ratio, not whether you're running 25-9 or 33-12 (both about the same ratio).

yes thats true. with skate parks smaller drive line gives you more coping clearance than having a monsterous sprocket.. plus i need to get rid of this damn rim lol

i liked it like a year ago lol but my forks bent on me in akron, my bars bent my cranks fell apart and etc lol the rim was the best part on it.only eastern part on my bike now is the seat lol
