I'm 41. Got back into riding after several decades. I'm not great at any tricks, but that isn't why I got back into riding.

Just do what you like, but do it right. I'm 37 and still learning new tricks, so it's never to late.

24 is still young.......flatland is technically the most difficult discipline in bmx though it requires allot of patience and time put in.......everything in riding takes practice just keep at it

Age dont matter at all, stop riding when its either not fun anymore or you physically can't do it anymore. Some 24yr old riders bodies are already fucked and they can't ride anymore, on the other hand there are guys like this....he's 43.

Freestyle is the answer to everything --
a fresh way to approach a dull or a
dangerous thing.
to do a dull thing with style
is preferable to doing a dangerous thing
without it.

I'm 33 and just started back up at the beginning of this year, coming off from being off the bike for 16 years or so. I can't really speak much of flatland, but I used to race and this time around I decided to give "freestyle" a go and have been progressing a ton. In some aspects, I think age helps because my patience is much better than when I was younger. I'm also better at analyzing what I'm doing wrong. Youtube videos are definitely a help, as well as video taping yourself. Good luck!

It isn't too late. As long as you're having fun riding your bike, that is all that matters.

Funny thing back when I was just about to turn 18 I stopped riding for a year because I thought I was getting too old for it. Haha

I'm 31 now, I had to stop riding for 11 years when I was 19 because of illness and personal problems, started riding again last year and haven't looked back. Best decision I ever made. I'm better at riding now than when I was younger, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon, I reakon I can keep riding til I'm at least 40-45

24 is still young man, you got at least 20yrs left of riding in you as long as you stay fit & healthy.
