Just try both options and see what works better for you.

left foot forward, spin right, grind left. thats the "normal" way. yes spinning your "normal" way out of a grind would mean spinning away from the ledge/rail and spinning into the ledge/rail would usually be your "opposite" direction. but there really are no rules about which way you should do what so just do it the way you feel most comfortable doing.

Dude you're so weird you can't ride a bike. Haha no jk I think you're just describing the difference between a hard 180 and an easy 180. It's all preference.

So would it be easier to 180 left due to being able to pivot off or right? Cause right my front tire would have to go over the object if I did it right. But thanks a lot for the help so far

your 180 should not depend on the grind. just 180 your natural way. you can then figure out grinds later.

Left foot forward, grind left, spin right is the standard i guess you could say. A regular 180 out of a grind is called a "feeble/double peg hard 180" because its harder. if you can spin switch, then feeble/double peg easy 180 would be a switch spin out of the grind and it would be easier because you dont have to worry about your back tire

listen, in skatebording, you have diffrent stances, when you start out you just kinda try them all(without realizing it normally) and you pick the one which feels the best. and thats what you ride for forever because that is whatfeels the best

In bmx Theirs no such thing as a stance its either left or right foot forward. little secret it's normally the same either foot you use. or what hand you use, it's whatever feels the best to you. normally something like "that" will feel better or more natural because their using their dominant side to deliver the "push"...... I bet your right side dominant right? so you lead with your left foot, and then when you start to push, your right kicks in just slightly faster and with a little bit more strength than your left. whichever foot takes the first step when you put your feet on the ground in the morning is the one that'll be in the rear, Honestly it's a disadvantage, and with enough training, you could be switch and use either for a lead foot, As for spinning, its just whichever way you look, but, if your right foot is delivering more force during the scoop, all you have to do is turn your head and shoulders(good shampoo btw) and well look your bike is spinning. spinning the other way left foot forward would be harder, but if you switch your footing, it'll be easier... but most people say left or right foot forward because it's what their used to doing and have always done it that way because it's what works. But with enough practice, you can ride with either forward.

so, NO your not werid, your just doing what comes natural.

If you're left foot forward you'll most likely gonna spin to the right. If you grind lift and spin right that's normal. It's called a hard 180, for obvious reasons haha. But try spinning both ways and just see what feels better
