Depends on what cults you got ive got them and ive had them for the last 2 years and they are going great still after how much i have thrashed them but then any crank will last a while it depends on how u ride

$20 says that idiot said they crack easily because his buddy rode them since they came out, and is now twisting words.
No pic, no proof.
As for how good they are, they're great cranks. I had them for almost 2 years. Actually thought I cracked them myself, but it was just a funny looking weld. I jumped off a roof with them & did a fair amount of drops and stuff. They developed the inevitable "profile wobble" that happens when the splines wear out on 48 spline cranks. It wasn't bad, but it annoyed me so I got Odyssey Thunderbolts & sold the Akimbos to someone who is still riding them with no issues.
Only problem I ever had with them was I snapped one of the bolts since they're aluminum, but my friend had a pair of Fly cranks and the bolt to that fit & was steel, so it worked out. That & they were a bitch to get on, even with grease & the tool. No biggie though
