are these good? they look meaty, but they only pump up to 75 psi. i usually run 90 psi.
so, which absorbs more impact and protects against pinch flats: a thicker tire tread or a higher psi?

Ive ran my MTTs @ 80 with no problems, so only ten less than what you would normally run, I'm sure you could run a bit more too and they'd be fine.

A lot of factors come into play with pinch flats, like rim walls, rim strip, psi, fat or thin tires, if you've got a decent wheelset tho you shouldn't really have any problems with getting pinch flats

I like these tires, but only for street tho, park & dirt tires need a higher psi in my opinion.

so if i ran em at 70 psi, would that be good for 8 ft roof drops?

I'd run them them at their psi max if i were you as they don't feel solid at 75 like some thinner tires would at that psi, but that's up to you tho really, just preference.

If these things even went to 100 PSI, they'd be like 2.5" or 2.6" in diameter.
