Hey guys, i recently snapped my The Take Ivy 4 along the seatstay and dropout weld, along with a crack going halfway around the end of the seatstay, so i'm sending it in to FBM ( they make Take frames) for their crash replacement offer which is half off any of their in-stock frames. ($185) I got this frame in Summer of 2010 so i would say it has lasted me quite awhile.
It has come down to a decision between the Berzerker 2.5 in 21' trans black or The Take Ivy 5 in 20.75" in Trans Matte Green
berzerker 2.5 specs:
Head Tube Angle 75 degrees
Bottom Bracket Height 11-7/8"
Seat Tube Angle 71 degrees
Standover Height 8-1/2"
Rear End Length 13-3/8" (slammed)

ivy 5 specs:
Head Tube Angle 75 degrees
Bottom Bracket Height 11-1/2"
Seat Tube Angle 71 degrees
Standover Height 8-1/4"
Rear End Length 13-1/4" (slammed)
The only real difference between the frames is that the Berzerker 2.5 has ~ half inch higher bb, a quarter inch higher standover, and a 1/8 inch longer chainstay and of course the longer toptube length.
i am 16 years old and 5' 8" and i like to do nose manuals, hang fives, barspins, tailwhips, grinds, street stuff etc
so i'm mainly just wondering how much of a difference the ~half inch rise in bb height would make and if i should go with a 21" i'm not sure if i would like the extra roominess
