So yesterday my hub finally took a total shit on me and is no longer safe to ride, for what ever reason the driver will lock up randomly so I can't pedal forward but the wheel will still coast just find minus some rubbing noise that almost feels identical to a tire rubbing the frame, has to be one of the strangest hub fuck ups ives ever dealt with

I honestly don't know I guess I ride too much, it does it so random it would be hard to record to, I was able to put full body pressure on it without it moving, but if I push it fakei I think that unjams it not really sure its only happen 3 times and I haven't taken it apart yet, project for tomorrow I suppose then ill post pics of what it looks like inside

Doesn't look like anything is broken. Have you tried cleaning, re-lubricating and re-building it?

1. Clean everything really well.
2. Wind the spiral ring over the shoulder of the collar so it sits between the shoulder and the flared end.
3. Put the split plastic washer between the spiral ring and the shoulder. GREASE.
4. Put a good bit of grease on the long end of the collar, then slide on one plastic washer, then the bearings, then the last plastic washer.
5. grease the outside of the bearing well.
6. Slide the collar assembly you just made into the driver.
7. This is the only tricky bit. Use a pick or a small screwdriver if you dont have a pick, to tuck the end of the spiral ring inside the driver into the groove. Then wind it round to feed it all the way in.
8. Reassemble driver to hub.
9. Ride.

Not sure what has happened to those spokes, maybe you had something trapped in the chain or between the guard and the spokes that rubbed for a while?
