diamondback has some sick bmx bikes on their site

Unfortunately Diamondback pump out the cheap shitty completes & parts to sell to younger kids who are clueless & just want a BMX to ride to the park to play Football (Soccer to you) Sadly they have actually used some of that money to fund some pretty good Team members & put out one or two quality parts & like Eddi said they get slagged off & you more than likely will too.

P.S.. That Frame has U-Brake Mounts not V-Brakes. Very Rarely do you see V-Brakes in serious Freestyle BMXing. Racing you will & dirt cheap shitty Complete Bikes you will too. But for serious "Freestyle" Street/Park/Trails etc, etc.. Frames will use U-BRAKE Mounts.

looked at the brake mounts, realized my mistake, v brakes have the mounting arms on top. This frame seems solid and the next cheapest frame I can afford is a intense podium on sale at J and R bkes. But it is racing and I already have an INTENSE racing bike. my current freestyle setup is going under an overhaul and has one piece mongoose cramks on it and such. Im basically building a bike that I can ride at any moment during the project.

Yeah INTENSE + Street or Park you are gunna have a BAAAAAAD Time!

|

Oh & you can have U-Brake Mounts on top too buddy. Its a different style of mount not the positioning.

intense makes freestyle bikes. but the only people that really know the brand are racers and professional mountain bikers that have ten thousand dollar intense mountain bikes

The Intense Mountain Bike company isn't the same as the Intense BMX company.

Just checked, yeah you're right. I looked to see if they were related about a year ago though and couldn't find any evidence that they were.

they are a good company, I don't know why their bmx bikes dont get any attention in the freestyle world. They do have more than racing bikes, they got freestyle.

i wouldn't buy a bike from a company I'd never heard of lol

they are worthy, they are mostly bought by hard core racers

Haha so many kids would and do

I had a kid come into the shop I was working at asking about Sapient Bikes. Turns out they are a crappy "House" brand at a snowboard shop. He asked my thoughts, I told him they were pretty similar to what you would find at walmart. Showed him MUCH better options from Haro, Fit and Eastern, and his dad said "they look the same to me, we're getting the cheap one".

Less than 2 weeks later they had his bike in the shop, blew out his hubs, BB and bent his fork. TWO WEEKS. Kid was brand new to freestyle supposedly. His dad was PISSED and tried to claim we didn't warn him so he should "get free labor" to fix the bike we had nothing to do with.

Anwho, the Diamondback should be decent if it is chromoly and decent geometry.

they got chromoly, but I have been looking at other frames to. but im also considering getting a Wal-Mart but ke and upgrading it over and over first thing to replace would be the bottom bracket. but that is a last resort.
