Tires made by Eclat are always expensive. Idk why, i dont get the hype for them. Not saying I WONT buy them, but dropping 80$ on tires is not a great idea for me. I will probably get some GLH tires for less than that.

Fireballs are €32 euro for me on sourcebmx (shit's expensive in America) I actually know a guy that has them in black, he has the 2.30 up front and there's loads of space in his forks, he hasn't had a puncture with them and they're really nice

I remember paying $90 for my Eclat Burns stem a few years back.

Also, them being Stevie's sig tire is irrelevant to the price. The Eclat Ridgestones and Controls were both the same price, and they weren't signature tires.

I realized I'm buying a CK but 40$ for a tire is a fucking marketing ploy if I ever knew one. Wouldn't pay that much for rubber even if it was some oilslick kryptonite compound.

In Canada at a Bike Shop BSD Donnasqueeks are like 50$ , you'd end up paying like 130$ for those Eclat tires + bike shop profit + taxes.

On Danscomp , pricing closest to MSRP , is 43.99$ . Doing a quick google search and calculation , a Canadian pricing of the Fireball tires will be 51.15$ , then add tax which is 12% , again using quick google searches , would be 6.138 ( 6.14$ if you round ) . Add both up and you'd get 57.288 (57.30$ rounded ) . That's basically 60$ a tire , and that's without the cost of profit from a bike shop which can be anywhere from 20% - 40%.

They are actually the same price. £28 which is around $40. You Americans think everything is expensive over here, you dont realise how cheap shit it! Example... Subrosa street rail -$200 which is £120-130. In the uk it £220, which is $342...

Not that bad at all really, considering that's roughly the same we're paying, the biggest rip off is for us UK guys to get American made stuff, a S&M frame is £400 here ($625) however the new KHE dan Lacey tyres are £50 ($78) here! Now that takes the piss

This is wrong. In the US we are distributed by QBP, like a lot of other brands. QBP orders from Taiwan not Germany.

The Canadian dollar is only worth 86 cents in the States so if I wanted them ordered I'd be paying even more than what I said earlier. Better to buy them at Canadian price .

Nahh, i am going off of how much the other tires cost.

For that price i could get like 3 Shadow Valor tires (with a coupon code) on danscomp and those tires are easily better.

Well valor tires suck cock tbh, but I am just saying in Canada we pay $80-$100 for even a cheaper pair like for example, Duo SVS in canada are bout $30-$35 each, so like $60-$70+ taxes for tires that you pay $20 for in the US.

They are great tires dude. They last for ages and roll great, not one flat either. Idk anyone with a problem with them either?

I've had them for a couple weeks now. Pretty good tire. On par with the eclat ridgestone I replaced it for. Run it up front in 2.3 and fit t/a in 2.3 also in back.

Personally I whould get s&m mainlines or speed balls for 50$ for a set rather than 40$ for one fuck that noise
