Standard Spacing is 110mm, I can't find anything about the Remix being Wider than standard?

Are You running Hub Guards? It's possible that if You're running slot on Guards that it has increased the Hubs overall Width, thus it won't fit.

You've got a couple of options...
1. Spread Your Frame open to Fit the Hub, be warned though, it could put pressure on the Hubs Bearings, making it spin like Shite...
2. Primo have just released Guards specific to the Remix Hub. They come with new narrower cone nuts that allow the Plastic Guards (sadly for some) to clip into place & not add to the Hubs overall Width!

That's My Take on Your annoying situation! Hope that's helpful.

the hubshell itself is too wide for the frame

Oooooooooooooooooooooooh, Primo MIX, Not the Remix? Then I believe that Hub has 112mm Spacing & You have pretty much NO choice but to go with the Option 1 from My previous comment!

Literally line up Your back wheel & from the sides just pull Your drop outs open just enough to push the Rear Wheel into the Frame! Your Frame is made from Chromoly, it's pretty strong! It will obviously put a little uneven pressure on the Frame, but seriously SO many people have done this over the past few years & barely anyone reported Frames cracking/snapping because of it!

File your cone nuts down 1mm or however much on each side evenly to fit the hub in without spreading the dropouts, do this and your frame and hub will thank you.

Holy shit if its 1cm, 10mm that's quite alot, still you can take it to a machinist and have him shave 5mm, 1/2cm of each cone nut. Do it and save yourself some headaches, obviously making sure the side he shaves are the sides that sit against the dropouts.

Edit: Since it's 10mm you will not fit that in your dropouts no matter how much you try and if you do you will not be able to tighten your wheel as your dropouts will be angled out so bad on the cone nuts. Definitely take them to a machinist...

Could you pop up a photo of it lined up showing how wide the hub is compared to the dropouts.

Goodluck.

10mm?! Sheeeesh! That's an awful lot Mate! If We're talking 112mm to 110mm spacing, You'd be fine! But 10mm is a Fucking LOT! As Cell Member said, get them machined down or maybe even think about replacing them all together! Empire should be able to help You out!

I just fuckin stood on my bikes chainstays and pulled up really hard on the seatstays...it worked with my wheel !

I was rocking a hubguard and a FAT cone nut , so if you have muscles just lift that shit.

Doesn't that frame have hi-tensile steel dropouts? If so, there's your problem. They deform overtime & need to be spread open to fit your hub.

Hello there.
I bought a Volume Vessel Frame, and i have a shadow raptor cassete Hub.
I grind on both sides ( 4Pegs ), to the driver guard i have a ( Primo Dsg Metal ) and to non driver side , i order a ( United Squad Hub guard " thickness of 4 mm " ).
When i try to put it on my frame, it doesnt fit.. That means that for it fit i need to strech my frame ( alround 4mm )...
And i want to know what you guys think.
Its too much to strech?
It will damagey frame?
Etc
Thank you for the help guys!

2 year old thread, please check the date before posting on old threads.

Stretching your frame by a few mm will be absolutely fine.
