Hello I'm here to see what I should do so here's my story. I was at my local park and I over jumped this ramp and landed flat very hard and my bars slipped all the way forward. Someone gave me there Allen key to use and I loosened them and put them back in place but it did it again. This time I had no Allen key to use so I put my foot inbetween the tire and downtube and pulled them back and I know its the worst thing you could do but I needed to get home and fix it right away. I though it was my stem and took my stem off to find the paint came right off. And when I got the bike a year ago they used to slip a lot so I got loctite and put it around the bars and on the stem a bit. That's probably not the best thing either. But I'm thing of stripping the paint straight off where it is on the crosshairs and tighten it because I think that's why they keep slipping is because where it's knurled it can't grab as good because the paint is in the grooves. This is pretty long but I just wanted some opinions on this. Thank you for reading
