What's a good brand? I really enjoy watching people do tricks and I honestly think I'm going to stick through it but I want to start off with a good affordable bike.

most brands are pretty good if you have a range of like 400 look for frames made from chromoly , i would recommend buying a bike from danscomp , empire or albes

Freestyle is the answer to everything --
a fresh way to approach a dull or a
dangerous thing.
to do a dull thing with style
is preferable to doing a dangerous thing
without it.

Yeah, I was looking at the (danscomp) website and saw a couple good kinks and my friend has a midnight blue kink whip he's selling.

I'm thinking of riding on stock parts until I gather up more money so I can buy aftermarket parts.

True. I had 2 gt bikes. One was an 05 compe and the one I am riding now is an 07 zone. I actually like haro bikes as well it was always second on my list especially their 500.1 series which is overly amazing!
