So my front single wall rim is not going to last much longer. And my rear is meh. Its a pinned double wall and truing it every day gets old. About 50% of the time I ride smooth, 50% I ride hard, beating the shit out of my bike. (Not throwing, as in my great ideas like top of 8 foot deep bowl to the bottom flat, going off a dirt jump, didn't end well)
Im building a new front wheel, ordering a new rear rim.
Plan one.
Alienation malice tcr f/r, cinema vx hub, getting the tcr tires later
Plan two
Cinema 777 rims f/r, cinema vx hub
Open to suggestions, really open. I'm a noob at wheels.

Edit: front hubs that can fit a s&m cymbal gaurd are what I want. Not sure what fits what.

Those Malice Rims look really badass to be honest, im not a fan of cinema's shit.

Hub wise i would avoid cinema as well and look at Gsport/Odyssey, Demolition and Subrosa/Shadow.

Ok, so it looks like the shadow hub. The matching rear hubs comes in LEGIT female axle mode. Mismatched hubs are something I have a problem with. I don't know why.

In my experience eclat rims hold up great for a resonable price. Got the bondi aero in the back which has been trued like twice since I got it, and its been on 2 different hubs and needed very little truin both times. I don't count just tightnin spokes as truing them btw. But yeah, great rim. And I've got a x-odus up front which you can probs still find out there somewhere. That's been trued about twice as well, cept I've had that one for 2 or 3 years... I think nearly 3..
