Does anyone know of any cheap roof racks that would fit an 05 sentra. I can find quite a few but the racks themselves are atleast 250$ not including Canadian shipping. Any ideas?

Roof racks are expensive because of the fitment pieces, there's so many different style cars out there, they can't make just one universal one, so they have to make several different ones to fit a wide variety, which isn't cheap. I know Wal-Mart carries one that is supposed to fit several different cars, but I didn't trust it enough to buy it cause it was only like $100 or so I think.
I looked into this for myself several months ago and it was pretty expensive, so I just opted for a $100 trunk rack

Just use a trunk rack.... Roof racks look stupid on most cars and if you forget it's up there? Bye bye bike.

If you want to look cool & keep your bike safe as long as you don't hit anything. Get a roof rack.
If you want to not worry about it. Get a trunk rack.
Hitch racks are best but i haven't seen one on a car in months and you have to install a hitch.

I'll probably be opting for a hitch rack, I've tried trunk racks and they seem to just scratch the shit out of my trunk. Thanks for the opinions

I've got a hitch rack on my '10 Sentra and it does the job well.
Only catch is that it hits the ground if you're going up or down a steep grade. It's not a big deal, you just have to be a bit more careful.
If you've got a hitch already it shouldn't cost too much either!
