2 cans of clear. You want a thick layer of clear so its more durable. and i used 2 of color too

i was just saying the basic necessities but yeah 2 clearcoats would be good

1 can of primer
2 cans of paint
2 cans of clear
Around $40

Then you want to grab some steel wool, sandpaper, and heavy duty paint thinner. OR Your best bet is find somebody with an electric sander and use it, otherwise youll be sitting there all day sanding and cleaning and it might cost $30+ for everything youll need just to raw it out like that.

Edit: you may even need 3 cans of paint. And I personally prefer Duplicolor over rustoleum. Much better paint, same price, more colors.
