linear, more rigid when it gets bended on barspins or tailwhips

the parrallel strands keep the cable from binding inside the casing....you can basically spin your bars until the won't spin anymore and your bike will still roll....slic cable...each spin of the bars makes the brakes pull tighter and eventually stop your movement....

linear is better...
