Hey man i feel for you, i moved out of my parents and got my first place and within 4 months i had my bike that i spent every single dime of my own money on and earned and some little black kid hopped on it and took off one day while i was maybe 30 ft from the bike getting water. I chased him down but he got away.

Just keep talking to people and dont give up. If you think you see some kid on the bike def go after it even if its not your bike youll def not have the feeling you could have got it.

Start saving or talking to friends about parts. get a bike going and start building a new bitch.

exactly what i am doing... my buddy has an OLD T1 ruben i might get... and i still have a back wheel... and a shatty front hub. my grandparents are tryna help me build up a new one... but they are pretty broke too...

Also, my mom said if she sees it, she'll run them off the road and throw the bike in her car... :D my moms pretty badass...

not really, my $5000 MTB that got stolen didn't even get the thief a felony when he was caught.

and you can sue them all you want, if they don't have anything to sue for, then you'll end up with nothing....and since this is a bicycle, the judge will look at it as such. I"ve been down this road twice before, it's to the point to where if my bike gets stolen the only thing i can do is hope someone knows who has it....the Law doesn't give a fuck.

Here anything over 1500 in value is a class 3 felony. Which constitutes up today a 25000$ fine and or up to 25 years in prison
