Or just hold the new rim next to the current rim, tape the rims together, loosen 1 spoke/nipple and pull it over to the new rim & keep doing that until they're all over. I do that all the time at the shop & saves time when it's just a rim in need of being replaced.

This is what i do minus the tape but i think its actually faster to just delace it
