filming ?

I'm not expert filmer but I am currently working on an edit myself and I've learned some stuff.

Always film outtakes if possible.

Make sure your thumb is NEVER in the camera! I get so pissed off when my brother films for me and I watch the vid and I can see his finger.

Keep the camera as stable as possible.

Use a tripod as much as possible. You can find one's made for cell phones on Amazon and eBay as well.

Edit the clips together well and pick a good song.

I'd invest in one of these as well.

Just film good and learn from the pro of phone filmed edits

Yeah true but it would be nice to have an edit that has some variety of camera angles and other cool stuff

Yes. Hold your phone horizontally at ALL TIMES! If you don't, it'll look like the video that Roqfan posted and I don't think you want that.

Also, if you aren't using Windows Movie Maker or iMovie to edit and/or you're still looking for an editing program, the Splice editing app is good. I use it. It's not as good as Movie Maker or iMovie but you don't have to connect your phone to anything. You do it all on your phone. It's all there. It's pretty cool!

haha yes we all got that one friend that films that once in a lifetime line and holds the phone wrong .

also we use sony vegas
