Remember when vitals rider of the rear, Daniel Sandoval did really well in dew tour dirt? Everyone thought he'd be like one or two spots below podium. Then he got silver! (This could all be bs, I think it all happened)
What other riders are like that? Really good at one type of riding and then turns out to be good at another. Mine is Chase Hawk, he's also a beasty trails rider.

I like riding during Dew Tour more than I like watching it. Like, I LOVE watching them ride, but the one time I went down to Dew Tour this was the crew we had riding around
Just a bunch of random bmx riders, even more to the right of the photo not pictured too. It was awesome riding with that many people, some people even thought we WERE the Dew Tour riders haha

I love dew tour I just wish it was still a tour.....used to be such crazy battles for the cup ......I miss gravity games aswell......aitken winning dirt was so good......I think allot of the guys like chase don't do so well in contests because they just ride for style .....aitken won the dirt with style and crazy ass combos in 360s with monster amplitude.....amplitude deffinatly goes a long way

yeah a stylish whip will never score higher than a 3 double tailwhip to late bar... Sadly.
And the battles were amazing! winning the cup meant you were the best rider out of the 12... not the best rider that day!

that's awesome. We had a lot of skaters around the area, not so many bmx riders BUT after the tour was over they had like over a week until the next one so a lot of the BMX guys went to some of the more famous trails in Salt Lake and i know Shaun White had a huuuuge party at the skate park in Park City where he lives.

it's a contest like any other contest in any other sport...you think people take stuff like the Dew Tour seriously? They kill each other over soccer matches in South America...

Not like that. But some dude , I forget what interview this was from but the guy was like ," Some other pro rider was besides me. I heard him talking and seemed nervous. He told me if he "doesn't land this trick I can't pay my rent" "
So some people are in it for the wrong reasons.
