fork and stem help

i had to put headset spacers in to raise the gyro cables but now the forks are about 1/2" lower in the stem. Is this ok or is this not a safe amount for the fork to be on the stem? I cant lower the stem any further or the gyro will not work.

as long as you can turn the compression bolt in enough for it to be tight, you're fine.
