my s&m xlt-t forks of like 4 years have finally started to kick the bucket, welds are still fine but the dropouts are bent enough to cause my front hub to vibrate like crazy

unfortunately i dont have proof of purchase so im looking at new forks
should i go w/ r32's or some other forks?

Don't have to be an old man to rock front brakes, they open up possibilities for many tricks and styles of riding, who knows, you might even go d yourself having fun if you tried it. Or not, but don't knock it cause you don't do it.

Anything but Odyssey or Sunday forks! Don't feel obligated like everyone else and get the best forks currently out there backed by a lifetime guaranteed warranty, that'd be silly!

Instead, get another brand's forks that when they break after a year, you're either shit out of luck or only get crash replacement.

ordered some r32's

im never going to run front brakes as long as I ride street, no reason to spend an extra chunk of change to be able to have to do more maintenance on your bike. plus i dont ride skateparks

Adam Banton rides a lot of street.
Tobias Wicke
Dave Osato.

The list goes on.

To think that you can't run a front brake on street is ridiculous. But you know, try to be different by riding the same exact setup as most of the other dudes. Age has nothing to do with it either.

And the maintenance is minimal. I've had front brakes for about a year now and I've adjusted them all of 2 times. When I swapped frames, and when I painted a frame.
