You dont ride a coaster.
monthly. weekly you go through to much grease to fast.
to clean
1. take the wheel off your bike and remove axle bolts and spacers.
2.remove locknuts and and cone spacer.
3. thread your driver of lefty loosy (set all this on a paper towel!)
4. with a rubber hammer tap your axle out (tap on the axle side that the driver was on)
to clean just look at your clutch and the threads on your driver and on the inside of your hub shell for dirt and what not. get that off then put a good amount of grease on the stuff you cleaned.
Yay!

There are sealed bearings, cone nuts, axle nuts, and spacers. Then a bigass clutch/driver. No more parts than a cassette really. I suggest taking it apart and placing things on a paper towel in THE ORDER YOU TOOK THEM OFF to make it easier to put them back on. Thats what I do for my front end when I paint my setup. It just makes it somewhat easier to get back together faster.

this is what i did when i rode freecoaster, which was the whole time ive been riding up until recently. i would just take the drive side stud out and take the driver out. put some tri flow into the hub and onto the driver and such. screw the driver back in then put the stud back on and shred.

if you try to take the internals out form the driver side you will Break you freecoaster so everything comes out form the non drive side, and goolge that theres 999 videos or picture sequence on how to do it.
Clean it when it' becomes kinda weird.
Do grease the inside of the clutch but NO grease on the outside or it will engage for shit
