Brute force! Flat3s are a bitch to learn but once you've figured em out they're easy. One of the reasons they are such a bastard to learn is that they tire you out real quick after you've tried 20 times.

keep bars, head, shoulders hips twisted, in the direction your spinning. Try em off curbs or ledges for more time in the air.

use your follow foot to try and kick yourself in the ass, ie tuck your knees.

Good luck.

You need to huck the backend up at about 120 and spin a lot faster. Find something in front of you to look at (a sewer gate is PERFECT) and just pop it high and hold that backend up. The faster you spin, the more you can tweak the height.

another thing that helped me a ton with getting them flat was going faster and carving a lottttt. take a really really sharp turn before you hop. thats what i did, but just to learn them. you'll get used to getting flat and won't have to carve as much in time. and another thing is to try and spot your landing before you land. i can never just hop up and have my head turned the whole time. my head used to get stuck at the 180 and that caused me to tap more. what i do is hop up to a 180 and right where my head would get stuck i would just whip my head back in the direction I'm supposed to be going. it gives you like a whole extra jolt to get the bike around flat

Go faster than a 180. Carve harder and pull harder, tuck your knees at 120-160, keep your head turn.

No worries...

Another thing that helped me was to look under my arm instead of over my shoulder. Also push out with your arms after the 180 point with the bars slightly turned in the direction of your spin.

Try to kick your ass with your back foot. It'll pull he back end up and help you spin more
