Im getting a new frame in a month or so, and with most stuff I like to check out shit before I buy it. Im debating on if I should get a frame with out brake mounts or not and go brakeless. I dunno what to do, I do ride breaks now but I dunno what to do.

im prolly getting the mutiny mystic frame its brakeless. but removable mounts so try to find one with removable mounts

i mean get one with removable mounts or just ride with the brake tabs its not a big deal but the day you buy the one without any brake mounts will be the day you find some sick as trails that need brakes shit like that always happens

u should just get no brakes,its fun and if u get a fit frame with no brake mounts u can put calliber brakes on there if u need them!

I have an S3 Aiken I ground the brake mounts off not only because I ride breakless but i also like a smooth looking frame. Seems that most of the new frames coming out have a removable brake system anyway so you would have a choice you could run brakeless : ) or you could ride with brakes : ( good luck!!!

take your brakes off now and ride like that till you need to decide so you can see how it feels and if you like it get a frame w/o mounts and if you dont get one with

brakes arent pointless
personally i have a brakeless fit hawk but i can understand why people want brakes. but removable mounts do look stupid
your skill level is not defined by the price of your bike

find one with removable mounts or just get a regular frame and once you have decided to go brakeless just grind off the brake mounts
