half inch hub axles!!!

I was looking at the bike I bought and the hub axles are a half inch wide! it is a fit bike and I was wondering if any companies makes hubs that big

A lot of rear hubs have 14mm axles, which is equivalent to 0.551181" (slightly over half an inch)

14mm front hubs where all the rage in the late 90's due to the added strength over 10mm male axles

BTn short for boston bikes, still makes those 14mm front hubs in Mexico. I still have mine for emergency occasions. tongue I don't know for sure though if they make them in the USA though. My shadow raptor front female is stronger for grinding though, even at 3/8"
