is there a way you can remove one link from a half link chain? i only need one removed but i thought it would just fall apart, i need to know soon

Yes you can.

Technialy the link is supposed to stay like this.

But i have seen a lot of shadow interlock chains fall apart as you said (mine is a cult halflink).

It's 3 pieces. 2 side plates and a bushing. I would hope you can figure out how it goes back together.

i tried it and it fell apart but it is much harder to put back together seeing how i need to put it back in, now my chain is dead with a few destroyed plates so ill have to replace some old links with some new ones i got coming

Did u have the right chain breaker if it was a shadow?

You can take pieces out of half link chains no problem all you need is a chain breaker
