a driver goes in a cassete and the cassete is the inside part the drivers on the outside

why the hell did you title it as holy shit? Thats fucking stupid...

Cassette is the entire hub, as where the driver is the locking mechanism on the hub.

they call them cassette hubs because a few years ago we doesn't have one piece drivers. So on those old 3 pieces driver, the cogs fit into the driver just like a cassette tape fits into the stereo (i mean the things that move the tape) ok just try to figure the image please i can't explain it too good in english, i'm missing some words XD lol, well that's why they named it cassette hubs.

The driver is the thing that moves the wheel, inside the hub shell it have the pawls that engage the shell and move the wheel, outside you have the theets for the chain.
