Okay so I needed to take my back wheel off because the shop put my tire on backwards.
They did the female axle up so fucking tight that I couldn't get one of the bolts out..
Bit of searching through the site revealed Allen key into the side I COULD remove would allow me to get the bolt off.. All good, flipped the tyre and went to put the wheel back on..
Now, when I tighten the axles the wheel basically locks up. Or becomes super tight and my wheel can spin either way! I haven't got much experience with hubs so anyone have any suggestions? Some googling made it sound like cone nuts.. But I'm not sure if the BSD pro even has any!

For the love of god, stop going to that fucking bike shop, wait..no.

Go there one more time, PISSED, and demand your money back.

Sounds like the lock nut is on to tight.

That hub has press fit cones. Make sure everything is put on correctly and no pieces are upside down and try to put it back on your frame. If it doesn't work idk what to tell you. A picture might help us to see if anything is wrong.

Dude its the only specialist bmx store in my town!
And I'm not even saying they did anything wrong..
Obviously I tightened something accidentally but I don't know enough about hubs to start messing with it.
What's a lock nut?! Seriously looks like two female bolts and that's it. Doesn't seem overly complicated. Though I think there's supposed to be something between the driver and the bearings and there's not.
And it just feels like the driver bearings and getting squished.
Because I can tighten the non drive as tight as I can and it doesn't affect spinning

I'm not even sorry when I say this. If a specialty BMX shop put your tire on backwards, how does that quantify a specialty bmx shop in your mind? They put your tire on backward, shouldn't that within itself raise some red flags with you? Half the time there is a damn arrow on the sidewall that designates rotational direction, even without that it's pretty obvious.

Add this to the wheel truing and your messed up hub, whom you have had this shop all assess, that should give you a valid reason to question reputation of that specialty bmx shop.

Just because a guy owns a store full of BMX bike does not mean he knows shit about repair, assembly, and maintenance of those bmx bikes. It definitely does not mean the mechanic whos actually wrenching on your bike has the sleightest clue as to what the hell he's doing either.

Just to correct you for your sake:

No, you obviously DIDN'T do something wrong. Obviously you DIDN'T tighten a bolt so hard on to your frame that it seized and possibly cold welded itself, preventing you to take it off.

Going to a shop to get something fixed doesn't mean break more. They messed up your stuff, and your right it isn't overly complicated.

Take photos, buy tools, go to a different shop.

Ya know now that you've put it into perspective like that, it does seem pretty retarded.
I called them And described my situation and they told me to take the bike in, as it would be best to actually see it. Unfortunately I have a good feeling I bbought The last BSD pro they had, so they're not going to have anything to compare it to or replace if necessary. So it'll be warranty job because they'll just do what I did. But that's presumptuous so I probably shouldn't.
Also the bolts are threading when I try to tighten or loosen so I'm hoping they don't get stuck in there.
Partially my fault because I forgot to unscrew the chain tensioner but after I realised, I took them out completely and it was still stripping them!
I really Have no luck with this bmx thing lol

Which puts me in an interesting situation, it seems I'm not knowledgeable enough to do my own repairs, but even when I take it to a shop it still gets wrecked haha

I'm willing to bet 95% of the people on this website that can tell the difference between thier head from there ass. Probably F't up A fair ammount of thier own stuff learning.

In reality, it's more scary then anything else. Aside from lacing a wheel, the rear hub is probably the most mechanically complicated part on the whole bike. When I disassemble something for the first time, i take piece by piece photos. It takes time BUT i have a reference for re-assembly. Taking your time, not forcing things apart or together, remembering reassembly, and not gorilla tightening bolts help.

I'd take it back to that shop and return it. THEN buy it from somewhere else that has good reviews and deal with them.

At first, when my old wheel was buckled, (which they did) they said wait until they heard back from eclat suppliers. Then half a week goes by and I got my misso to go down for me while I was at work. I told her that if no attempt had been made to fix anything and they'd heard no word, to keep the wheel and give my money back for the Hub (300) bucks and I'd just go buy an oddy complete. They said sorry hadn't heard back and no we can't return the Hub because it'd been scratched and they wouldn't be able to resell it. At that moment I flipped off the hinges, told my boss I was working with and we were going to go down there and sort that shit out. 5 minutes later I get a call, "hey mate sorry for the delay, talked to eclat who nearly recalled the rim, new upgrade to Bondi is on its way free of charge, be here tomorrow" so I calmed down and thanked him..
Bottom line, I would have returned it then but if they wouldn't allow it then, they certainly won't allow it now it's been ridden and I honestly don't blame them for that.
But still the issue remains...

This.

Straight up you need to find a shop with a BMX rider working there. Failing that, BECOME the BMX rider working there.

That's what I was at our local, and it brought in a LOT of people.
