how do you protect icy dirt jumps?

sup, i got this dirt ramp in my yard... im still workin on it but the last time we got this one ice storm that sucked... and i mean sucked... my ramp cot covered in a 1 inch thick sheet of ice. iam makin it bigger and redoing it now but is there a way to protect it if we get more snow????

A) a dirt jump is not a "ramp", its a dirt jump, ramps are made of wood.



B ) Tarp up all your jumps. that is pretty much the only way to protect dirt from the weather
