Aright so I just bought a BSD backstreet hub (male axle) and I put it on my bike along with the peg , hub guard and washer. I then noticed the nut is only half way on the axle so not all the way. So I was jw if this could cause a problem or no big deal.

You can see how the smaller circle which is the axle is in deeper where as the bigger circle being the nut is farther out on the threads

Take the washer off and try again and see how much room that gives you.

Usually I advise against taking the washer off, but since you have the peg it will help act as the washer so you don't really NEED it on that side like you do the other side, so it's okay in this instance.

When you put some pegs, you should took off the washer because the peg replace it.
Do this and it will be better.

X3 remove washer and see where that gets you.

Take the washer out, see how it is. If you don't have MINIMUM 3/4 of the nut on axle, you might need to thin the peg a touch.
