Hi. I have a top load stem that mine friend game me but it doesn't give the rise I want it only 20mm rise. I want to know should i get a new top load stem or just buy some spacer to save money also does it feel the same meaning is there any difference between a topload stem and spacer in the height and feel of the bars. Has anyone rode with spacers how is it. I forgot about the shadow Grande Headset Cap out of those three which one should i get.

You can only run spacers if your forks require spacers. Adding extra spacers will break the stem and you'll never get into college.

You should quit worrying about the stem. Just run it as is and if you don't like it put your old one back on or just save for a different one.

Wow I didn't know that so can you tell want forks run spacer or not I thought all forks could used spacer but I guess not I was going to get two 10mm spacer and one 5mm spacer the stolen ones. I will use the stem for now until I get a new one. Thanks
