So I took my 2.5 peice aeon cranks apart tonight to re-grease and now when I put it back together and tighten the crank bolt even just beyond like falling out tightness, the arms get ridiculously hard to spin.. I've taken them apart and reassembled like 3 times now.. Any iideas anyone? Anyone run into anything similar?

I like my crank tight, a bit hard to turn without chain.
But once you are on the bike, there's absolutely no difference while pedaling, a tight / loose chain can make a difference, not this.

So except if you are a crankflip fan it shouldn't be a problem.

But it you do tricks like tailwhips, no foots and stuff like that, it will be a plus, because your crank will not move in air.

I didn't even get the chain on yet! I was thinking it was the bearings slightly out of alignment cause I smashed them in tight and took out a spacer between sprocket and crank arm (forgot to put back in) and now it's moving freely even with the bolt as tight as possible with Allen key

That's not true at all. A tight BB can cause a lot of stiffness, hard to pedal, more wear, and ultimately faster failure.

Make sure everything is seated correctly, if you have a spacer for your sprocket, make sure it is on correctly, make sure the threads for your bolts are ok, and check everything over. Make sure your bearings didn't start to pop out too.
