The $800 shipping is with customs dutys and charges included (danscomp gives you that option when buying internationaly) my mate had recently built a new setup from dans and had to wait a few days when it got into the country and he had to pay around $500 . Also I didnt get spokes I am going to get wheels built here. Lol my mate got elites on ti spokes to deviants and folded his front wheel the first day he got it. And I saved hard for this. I choose this over a rb20det manual nissan cefiro

nope, nothing special about it..ceramic bearings are only good for high speed type things. I cant find it but when I was looking into ceramic bearings for my race hubs, Ive read in order to actually notice or have the bearing be that special, you have to go over a certain speed to gain the benefits which is not happening here. Perhaps the OP can throw bars faster then the speed of light :p

Don't ceramic bearings have less friction though? Meaning for instance, if you spun a wheel with regular bearings vs a wheel with ceramic ones, the one with ceramics would spin longer. Maybe not faster, but longer. Or am I completely out of line? haha that's just what I've read though.

Of course that would offer nothing to spinning bars haha but holy shit that is an expensive order.

people use ceramic bearing on skateboard wheels becuase they're waterproof but that does'nt really apply here...

A lot of the parts come on some of the others. Just saying.

Like the Driver, it COMES ON THE HUB. Sure, you can get a ti one to save all of an ounce, but the life is shorter. (I had one).

Same with Ti Spindles. Not necessary.

Yes, because we can determine the balls are actually perfectly round, which we cannot do with steel. There are tiny imperfections in the steel bearings.

I think maybe there is less friction and there's are harder surfaces with the titanium and ceramic. The cost of titanium is high due to the process of manufacturing being long and technical. And yea maybe I went overboard on some little extras, but hey that's my decision. I've been hang in for a decent bike for a while now. I'm 17 so I though why the fuck not blow the money I've managed to save on a KILLER whip. And as I said above the import duty and taxes gas been included in the shipping fee

Nah mate I I had to buy the elite hub set and that only has a cog driver. The reason why is because they only had the colour I wanted for the hibset. The whole bike is black and the stem, sprocket, seat and hubs are green camo

I could buy 200 bags of shit with that money :/

Shipping is like 2 times the value of both my bikes put together.
