its lighter. there isn't a wire bead going around its kevlar instead and it can also fold unlike a normal tire

it can hold higher psi, its stronger. its also wayyyy lighter, most tires are in the 25-30oz range, my khe dirts at size 2.20 are around 13 oz. so with two you're saving over a pound. also folding tires cut down rotational weight/rolling resistance, which means it helps with spins and it makes you roll faster
